The creative process for one of these fabulous bags begins with the basics - an idea for the bag type and size along with a yarn selection.  Each bag is then hand knit using wools from all over the world.  As the bag takes shape, the wool may pull you into a direction not foreseen in the planning process so you must follow the path shown by the individual yarn.  The results of the finished product are often astounding.

After many hours of knitting, the finished piece is then fulled or felted, stretched and dried.  This process creates a lovely strong wool fabric ready to serve you as a beautiful and durable handbag.

Each LindyLou bag is sturdy and reliable, can be spot cleaned and is created to last. We have "product testers" across the nation using these handbags daily in order to test for durability and functionality - so you can be assured of a quality product.

Many of our clients prefer their bags without lining and that is why you will see many of our bags offered without lining. Prefer a lining on any of the bags in the studio? Just send us an e-mail and we will gladly insert a lining before you purchase!
